Here at WiTD, We have come up with a system that not only gives everyone an equal chance at points for the week but also rewards those that put more work into their training.
Training Guide:
How to post a training thread:
#1: Goto the training board for the realm that your faction trains. This is regardless of whether or not it is in the same realm.
#2: Created a new thread with the topic being "Character name-[weekly training]" for example my training post topic would be "The Watcher - [Weekly Training] you will post in this thread every week to keep board spam to a minimum
#3 ALL training posts must be UNIQUE and meet the strict minimum of 400 words. If this isn't met, your normal training rolls are cut in half and no bonuses are applied
How Training is graded:
#1: For qualified training posts (those with the required 400 words or more) The mod that checks training will roll 5 ten sided die, giving you a random amount of stat points that will be between 5 and 50 total points.
#2: There are bonus rolls that can be gained should you post above the minimum required words in your training. For every 100 words over the minimum of 400, you will gain a bonus rolls of one 5 sided die. Bonus rolls apply up to 1000 words meaning if you post a 1000 word training post you will get an additional stat bonus of between 5 and 30 points.
Using Training rolls to break caps:
#1 You may know already that based on your character tier theres a limit to how high you can raise a stat. This limit is called a stat cap. There are 2 levels of caps for stats. Initial cap, and broken cap.
#2: You initial cap is reached when your total in a stat is equal to or greater than your max for said stat. When this happens you can no longer put points into this stat until the cap is broken
#3: Breaking the cap is relatively simple. During your weekly training post somewhere near the bottom put [BC]Stat[BC] This will tell the mod that you want to use one of your normal rolls to attempt to break the stat cap. You may specify to attempt until broken In which your mod will keep using one of your training rolls towards breaking the cap. The cap is broken if the die roll is a 1;3;6;or 9 the roll fails otherwise.
#4: Abilities that take training rolls; you may have noticed that there are a few instances where training rolls can be used as a measure for the success of you learning a new ability for example custom kidou. The formula is the same as breaking a cap.
